What relationships do you see between controlled vocabularies and terminologies? What are the significant differences? What role do metadata play with respect to terminologies and controlled vocabularies? How would you compare the definition of terminology to the specification of metadata?
Task Description:
Research Project PowerPoint presentations: All students are required to prepare a 20 minute presentation outlining their Research Projects for presentation to the class in SW 10, 11, and 12, according to a schedule to be announced later. Serious thought should be given to these presentations. It is recommended that they be treated as if they were your presentation of your research at a scholarly conference. Presentations will be followed by group discussion.
