YESTERDAY...

I was born in France, where I went to High School. Since languages, cultural differences, and travellings always attracted me from a very young age, I decided to study translation. I completed my undergraduate studies in Geneva,Switzerland, at the famous ETI School of Translation and Interpreting, for a B.A. in English and Spanish into French translation. I was lucky enough to spend several semesters abroad, in Spain and in England, where my linguistic and communicative skills greatly improved, along with my understanding of differing perspectives and opinions.

TODAY...

I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Translation, from French and Spanish into English, at the Institute of Applied Linguistics at Kent State University, Ohio. This program provides the necessary skills to translate in the legal, commercial, scientific, medical, technical, and literary fields. Localization and project management courses are valuable assets added to the program.

TOMORROW...

Aiming at translating and interpreting anywhere, anytime, I am hoping to learn more and to share my knowledge in this exciting field. Feel free to contact me at: aroy@kent.edu
